stage 1- iteration 3
Hello
For the past month I've been dealing with alot of changes with the game.
First of all, I've decided to stop using unity's dots package. It was missing to many functions and hasn't gotten updated in a long time. It took about a month to fully transfer everything to normal game objects, but know I its so much easier to make the changes I wanted. Attacks now use unity's timeline tool, which makes it so all the attacks are essentially cutscenes. It's especially nice for playing sounds and has really enhanced all of my attacks.
The Next big feature I've added was lighting! Probably because I'm still learning how to make pixel art, the game's aesthetic felt really lacking. With lighting I think it makes the game look alot better.
In a similar vain I also changed how the water works, although I'm not 100% I'll be keeping it. I've also made a bunch of small changes to the game, like changing Wilbur's theme so it matches his character better.
Oh and there is one last thing I want to talk about that has REALLY enhanced the game. STEVE
